Freedom Health Insurance marked Valentine’s Day and National Heart Month with an internal fundraiser dedicated to supporting the British Heart Foundation.
About The British Heart Foundation
The British Heart Foundation is a UK organisation that funds life-saving research that goes towards investigating and finding cures for heart and circulatory diseases and all things that may cause them.
As the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK, they have been at the forefront of pioneering studies for over 60 years. Their dedication has played a pivotal role in reducing heart-related deaths by half in the UK.
Our contribution
We contributed to this reputable charity by decorating the office, asking staff to bring in some treats to share and donate to our Just Giving page. We are proud to say we managed to raise over £100 from this small internal event.
At Freedom Health Insurance, we wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to contribute to this charity. Our efforts to raise awareness and funds for vital research included transforming the kitchen with hearts and other related decorations to make it a fun area and encouraged staff to bring in treats to share with the team. We are proud to say, together, we raised over £100.
How can you donate?
The significance of public donations and support cannot be overlooked as it empowers charities like the British Heart Foundation to continue their life-saving work. There are numerous ways you can show your support, whether through direct donations, volunteering, or organising fundraising events of your own. Every little helps and makes the impact that is needed to continue this fundamental research.
